Senate Passes $1.1 trillion Omnibus Spending Bill

That's not the sound of the bells on Christmas morning, but rather the sound of the Democratic controlled Congress flushing America's future down the toilet.  The Senate has just passed a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill by a vote of 57 to 35.  The 1000-plus page bill covers spending for the Departments of State, Health and Human Services, Transportation, Education and HUD.  The bill raises the spending for its designated programs by an average of nearly 10%, well above the inflation rate.
