George Soros Targets Secretaries of State to Enforce Agenda

The liberal puppet master George Soros is back in the news.  This time it's about his attempt to sway election results.  It's called the Secretary of State Project (SOSP) and has a primary objective of electing liberal secretaries of state in key battleground states.  The position SOSP is targeting oversees election offices, which includes determining what ballets are and aren't counted.  The implications of this project bring to light just how far extreme liberals will go to get their ways, even if that means tampering with elections.  George Soros and the SOSP have declared an assault on the courts to fill them with liberal, judicial activists.

Even though the Democrats had an unprecedented supermajority in Congress from '08 to '10, they still weren't able to ram all of the big government policies into law they had hoped for.  Just like the White House uses executive orders to enforce regulations, such as with greenhouse gasses and the EPA, liberals are seeking to do the same through the courts with SOSP.

"Any serious commitment to wresting control of the country from the Republican Party must include removing their political operatives from deciding who can vote and whose votes will count."

The group's website states they want to stop Republicans from manipulating results.

"Supporting secretary of state candidates with integrity is one of the most cost-efficient ways progressives can ensure they have a fair chance of winning elections."

The project has been successful, particularly in Minnesota.  The secretary of state elected in '06, Mark Ritchie, who is a Communist collaborator, was funded by SOSP, which his opponent said contributed to her defeat, mainly because they have no upper limit on contributions.  George Soros did not fund SOSP directly back in '06, but other liberal front groups that he contributed to donated to the project.  They're all interconnected.

In '08, Ritchie headed the canvassing board that conducted the recount of the U.S. Senate race between the coke-head Al Franken and Norm Coleman.  Franken won, not surprisingly, as votes were found in trunks of cars that ultimately gave him over a 200 vote victory.  Franken became the 60th seat for Senate Democrats, giving them their supermajority and ability to ram bills into law against the will of the American people.  The power of the SOSP was clear after the '08 Minnesota election.  It had proven to be a worthwhile investment to protect their other investments.

The left, through their spiderweb of progressive organizations, are using money to buy political outcomes.  SOSP is connected to the Tides Center (which is connected to the Tides Foundation), the anti-war extremists at MoveOn.org and the countless other anti-American groups funded by George Soros.  And yes, many of them have direct ties to President Barack Obama and others in his administration.

This is what happens when a group of self-proclaimed elitists think they know what's best for the individual.  In turn, they exert their influence by funding some of the most radical causes in America.  They need to be stopped.
