Conservative and ratings juggernaut Glenn Beck complained of not feeling well on his radio show Wednesday and was taken to an undisclosed hospital to have an emergency appendicitis. Â President of Mercury Radio Christopher Balfe joked that, "before going under Glenn asked the doctor to draw out the surgery procedure on a blackboard." Â With Beck off the air and television waves for the next few days, the White House will finally have a chance to take a breather.
Beck's show on FOX News has become a ratings behemoth since its inception last January and has also become a target of the White House and the left-wing blogosphere. Â Beck, along with World Net Daily, were largely behind the resignation of 9/11 truther and Communist Van Jones, Obama's Green Jobs Czar. Â He's also done what the lib mainstream media ignores and connects the dots between the far-left organizations, such as ACORN and the Tides Foundation, and President Obama and his inner circle of cronies.
As Habledash wishes Beck a swift and healthy recovery, the White House doesn't have a much of an excuse to ignore domestic and international issues since singling out Beck on the White House blog wouldn't accomplish much while he's in recovery.
