At 5:39am on Friday morning, a disheveled Barney Frank (D - MA) and Chris "Countrywide" Dodd (D - CT) left Capital Hill after 20 years of determining how the federal government is going to destroy and cripple the finance industry. Both are chairman of the Finance and Banking Services committees and both played some of the most significant roles in the 2008 housing crisis that led to our economic meltdown. Their objective with financial 'regulation' is to attack Wall Street by enforcing more government control, but also omitting their friends at mortgage purchasing companies from any sort of oversight.
