Beyond the Koran Burning: The Islamophobe in the White House

Terry Jones has cancelled his scheduled Koran (Quran) burning event this Saturday in Florida. Wait a second, now it's suspended. No, now it's back on. Updates continue to hit the wires, but we'll only know the outcome on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of 9/11. Jones received a phone call today from Secretary of Defense Robert Gates who urged him to cancel the event because of the danger it presents to our troops. The pastor did announce his cancellation of the event only after he received a very important confirmation: the Ground Zero mosque would be moved from it's planned location.

Delivering messages in Milwaukee and Cleveland this week, President Obama has started campaigning to help ailing Democrats in this fall's midterm election, although he's never actually stopped campaigning. But did his speeches really promote a new economic plan? Not exactly. Instead what you witnessed was an angry black man singling out his critics while rallying an angry crowd of left-wing supporters. It was very reminiscent of his days as a community organizer. It wasn't presidential. Frankly, he came off as a union leader that was leading a protest at a bank executives house - something he's not unfamiliar with.

Idiotic Pastor to Proceed with Koran Burning Despite Warnings

Despite warnings from top military and government officials, Terry Jones, the pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida, has decided to proceed with his planned Koran burning this Saturday night to mark the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Even though he has the freedom to follow through with this extremely idiotic idea, it will only hurt America as we continue our war on terror. At some point, people need to understand that two wrongs don't make a right, especially when we're dealing with radical Muslims.
