Why the Iran Election is Important

Last Friday, June 12th, was an important day for democracy world-wide.  The Middle East is no doubt the hot plate of the world and spreading democracy to this region will ensure the safety and security of the world.  Iran held presidential elections last Friday and world braced to see the outcome - or at least how the election would get rigged.

The Auto Industry

The domino effect of the financial and housing crisis has continued throughout most of the industries in the world.  One of the hardest hit has been the auto industry.  As credit is tight, banks haven’t been as willing to loan money for automobiles.  Chrysler  recently entered bankruptcy.  And since when does the president make this announcement for a company?  Somehow from this deal, the UAW will now own a stake of the company - thank you Mr. Obama for paying back your constituency groups.

Current State of America

What is wrong with everybody?  We have an economy that's in a recession, a Congress with the lowest approval rating ever and Sham-Wow commercials on just about every TV station.....and who knows, I may even buy a Snuggie!  In a South Park episode, Mystery of the Urinal Deuce, to paraphrase, Kyle says to Cartman that one in every four people are dumb, basically idiots.
