The recent attention that has been brought to Chick-Fil-A is an example of liberalism runamok. The background is simple: Chick-Fil-A's president, Dan Cathy, is a religious Christian and supports the biblical definition of a family. He didn't outright say he opposes gay marriage, but this was enough for the purveyors intolerance to boycott his restaurants, even resulting in the mayors of Chicago and Boston stating their restaurants weren't allowed in their town. This is nothing more than attack on the First Amendment.

There's no reason to hide what happened yesterday: the American people got f*cked. The Supreme Court upheld Obamacare in a 5-4 vote, with Justice Kennedy siding with the Constitution and Chief Justice Roberts making one of the most nonsensical, demented majority rulings ever, as he sided with the liberals. The individual mandate is considered a tax, which Obama, that old bag Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid vehemently stated it wasn't. Essentially, Roberts punted, stating that elections have consequences. They sure do, as America has been "fundamentally transformed."

Guess what the media isn't focusing on this week? The economy, which posted dismal figures last week, gas prices, the terrorist plot by CIA double agent, and anything else that negatively affects President Obama. Instead, the Obama campaign has given the media a bright, shiny new object to play with: the President's acceptance, err, evolution on same sex marriage. Billed as historic by such a historic president, something that affects about 5% of America shouldn't be the centerpiece of attention. What's more is that Obama's support of gay marriage doesn't change anything - it's a state issue and Obama can't introduce legislation. What we've seen is a clever campaign that's able to divert attention, increase campaign donations and make sure the Tea Party doesn't get back into the news cycle.
