Top Democrat Hits White House on Security Leaks

It's not often that liberals stand up for America and act in our best interest.  Senator Diana Franken Feinstein (D - CA), who we classify as a leftist, actually raised concern about the White House and their seemingly endless national security secrets that have been leaked to the press by the Obama administration.  Stuxnet, the Osama bin Laden raid and the President's kill list have all been leaked to The New York Times for the entire world to see.  In the articles, the Times explicitly cites members of the Obama administration as sources of the leaks.  Franken Feinstein has just brought up an important issue that the White House had hoped to bury.

Before anyone gets too excited, Franken Feinstein already walked back her comments on Tuesday in an effort to defend the Obama administration.  As a Romney surrogate put it, she got Cory Bookered, in reference to the New Jersey mayor who was forced to walk back comments he made that criticized Obama for his Bain Capital attacks.  What all of this means is that the Obama campaign machine has no problem tightening the noose around the necks of those that don't follow their path.  Think a dictatorship when the regime finds someone that opposes their rule.  It's the same thing.

Here's what Franken Feinstein said:

“The White House has to understand that some of this is coming from its ranks. I don’t know specifically where, but I think they have to begin to understand that and do something about it.”

Referring to David Sanger’s book “Confront and Conceal: Obama’s Secret Wars and Surprising Use of American Power,” Feinstein said, “There’s one book they can read and they’ll see it very clearly. And I think that should be the case.”

Feinstein said that “what the president actually knows about this is difficult because with respect to intelligence he is in a bubble. He has his daily brief, called the PDB, the President’s Daily Brief, early every morning. And so he gets briefing from intelligence I don’t believe for a moment that he goes out and talks about it, I don’t believe the briefers go out and talk about it, but who knows who else. And I think that the importance of this has to be really set by the president himself. And hopefully he will do it, and I think he’ll most likely read the book and see it himself.”

One would think that the President of the United States of America would be absolutely livid that top secret national security details were leaked to the press and that he would want to hold those accountable so it never happens again.  Instead, the cool and smooth B. Hussein Obama doesn't think much of the situation and has not even made addressing the leaks a top priority.  That sort of response is indicative of someone who a) isn't bothered by top secret national security files being viewed by our enemies or b) was behind the leaks to achieve a political advantage.

There is more than enough evidence, specifically The Times citing the Obama administration as the source of the leaks, to come to the conclusion that the White House leaked this information for political gain.  With the economy a mess and unemployment at 8.2%, the Obama campaign is doing everything they can to point attention elsewhere.  Instead, they leak top secret information, hoping it will show Americans how macho President Obama is; that he's a tough guy when it comes to foreign policy (despite Stuxnet starting under Bush).

And now, Obama's top propaganda minister, David Axelrod, a Communist pervert, went on MSNBC to state that the leaks could have come from the White House....but that leaks come from every White House.  Axelrod's omission points to the likelihood that the leaks were intentional.

While the Obama campaign gets to stick their chest out for a bit, America becomes more vulnerable to an attack because politics and getting re-elected are the most important thing to the Obama administration.  National security be damned.
