By 70% on Tuesday, Oklahomans voted to pass a ballet measure that will ban state courts from considering Sharia Law, the political and judicial system used by Islamic extremists, when ruling on cases. The measure also banned international law, which some American courts have cited as precedent. The response from Oklahoma was clear on State Question 755, known as "Save Our State" - they don't want Sharia Law coming anywhere near the judicial system. Two days after the measure was approved, a lone Muslim filed a federal lawsuit, claiming it's unconstitutional.
