Maine Receives Obamacare Waiver as $105 Billion in Hidden Funding is Found

The number of Obamacare waivers surpassed 1000 a few days ago. On Tuesday, the Health and Human Services (HHS) department issued an Obamacare waiver to the state of Maine, citing that the government-run health care program could shakeup the state's health insurance market for individuals. About a month ago, waivers were also handed out to Florida, Tennessee, Ohio and New Jersey. At that time, 84% of the waivers went to unions. Although this is further proof that the White House realizes how unpopular health care reform is, this is simply a political ploy for Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.
