Obama Proposes Freeze on Discretionary Spending - His Latest Political Tactic

Image courtesy of UnitedLiberty.orgIn a sign that Democrats are worried about the upcoming midterm elections in November, President Obama will propose that Congress freeze "non-security" discretionary spending over the next three years, claiming it will save $250 billion over 10 years.  This is coming from an administration that can't even get their lies straight and figure out how many jobs the stimulus bill didn't create.  This tactic will likely support a broader strategy that will be outlined in the president's State of the Union this Wednesday.
