The Oscars without Politics Makes for a Boring Show

Every viewer of last night's Academy Awards witnessed a surprising upset. No, I'm not talking about Avatar coming up short on awards - I'm talking about the shocking omission of liberal political propaganda speak that's typically delivered by Hollywood stars that are divorced from reality. Other than accepting awards, the Oscars has turned into a platform for actors to voice their political opinion, but that wasn't the case this year. What we saw last night, though, was far from the norm.
