Everyone can take a deep breath - the Copenhagen Climate Summit is finally over. 11 days of global warming propaganda and climate change alarmists have nothing to show for it, other than they're a bunch of polluting hypocrites. As the summit winded down, the opposition movement heated up, unlike our planet. What started as climategate, the hacked emails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at England's East Anglia University, has now exposed how far and extreme liberals are willing to go to hide the decline.
CLASS Act in Health Care Bill Creates Entirely New Entitlement Program

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are a few examples of current government entitlement programs. Each have something in common - they'll be bankrupt in the near future. The current Senate health care bill creates a new entitlement program: the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports Act, also known as the CLASS Act. It would be a voluntary insurance program run by the federal government, but the risks associated will push Americas deficit deeper.

This morning at 1am the Senate voted on a party line to pass cloture for the health care bill. C-Span aired the vote live on their station and as Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson's name was called, one could only hope that he'd surprise the country and vote no. But he didn't - he supported the bill. His vote was bought by Harry Reid and the White House, even though his constituents at home strongly opposed the bill. The behind closed door deal making probably wasn't kosher and the American people are going to pay the price.
