In a sign that Democrats are worried about the upcoming midterm elections in November, President Obama will propose that Congress freeze "non-security" discretionary spending over the next three years, claiming it will save $250 billion over 10 years. This is coming from an administration that can't even get their lies straight and figure out how many jobs the stimulus bill didn't create. This tactic will likely support a broader strategy that will be outlined in the president's State of the Union this Wednesday.

Looking back at the 2008 presidential election, it appears that there were many behind the scene situations and conversations that Democrats would love to have kept a secret. Habledash reported yesterday on Harry Reid's racist comment about President Obama where he said he was "light-skinned," and had "no negro dialect." Since then, light has been shed on yet another inappropriate comment; this time made by former President Bill Clinton.

Christmas day 2009 could have been remembered as a tragedy because the system failed from preventing a terrorist attack on America. Fortunately, by act of a miracle, radical Muslim Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's explosive device didn't detonate onboard Flight 253. Make no mistake about it, this was a targeted terrorist attack on the United States by Islamic extremists. As the White House tries to point the figure at everyone else except itself, the real culprit of the attack is right in front of us.
